From: Frank Haywood Hi, One of the stumbling blocks for many people (me included) is not being able to set up a decent looking web page when it's needed. Sometimes, what I'll do is just use a simple plain border if I'm in a hurry. You may have seen one or two of those knocking around. They're okay, but they don't look the best in the world I'm sure you'll agree. However, if I have a bit more time, I'll put something together to the best of my abilities that looks good using Photoshop and Dreamweaver - I don't consider myself an expert, but some people are amazed at what I can come up with. All of the images have been created as fully layered Adobe Photoshop PSDs and are included in this package. I've seen some packages where only the output JPEGs have been included, and I've also seen others where it's claimed that the PSDs are included, but there aren't any layers, they've been flattened out. When PSDs are flattened, they're no better than the JPEGs. What you really need is what is included in this package. Fully layered source PSDs where each element of the final image can be moved around, edited, or turned off. So here you have the web page design, plus all of the graphics which can be edited with Adobe Photoshop. But what you ALSO have in this amazing package are the special Photoshop "Action Scripts", created by the same person who made the graphics. These are like programs for Photoshop that can be applied to an ordinary flat image, which when run turn the flat image into a 3D ebook or CD like the ones below. This is the same little trick that the design gurus use to create 3D ebook covers. Yeah, that's right... They don't actually create them in 3D, they make flat 2D images and then run an Action Script to convert them into the photo realistic ebook covers and CDs that you can see below. In case you don't know how this is done, I've recorded videos showing you how you can easily edit the text in Photoshop, and then run the Action Script to turn your flat image into a 3D ebook cover or CD. It's easy! If you don't have Photoshop, then you really should go get it as soon as possible as this should be in every marketers toolbox. I actually bought a second hand copy of Photoshop CS2 on eBay not long after CS3 came out for a fraction of the full price. There's really no excuse not to own it any more. However, if your money won't stretch that far, what I've done is to include high quality JPEGs of the 5 header images and the 5 footer images, so you can use a free graphics tool that works like Photoshop to directly add your own text to them. The details of where to get the tool are included in this package. There's even a plug in that will allow you to read PSD files straight in.
